Preliminary talk
Free of charge by telephone. We clarify your smoking habits, your health and your expectations and arrange your appointment – your stop-smoking day.
Preparation
Cut down gradually, nicotine patch 3 days beforehand, no alcohol or caffeine at the latest 12 h beforehand.
Session
Case history, bioresonance application (approx. 55 min.), soft laser optional, concluding talk about your plan.
Follow-up care
2 litres of water a day, exercise, replacing rituals. A call back or a top-up if needed.
Before and after the application
These points have proven their worth. You will also receive the checklist as an information sheet when you arrange your appointment.
Before the application
- Determination: Come with an honest wish and a clear decision to stop smoking. Your motivation plays the decisive role.
- Set a date: The day of your session is your stop-smoking day. That helps you to prepare mentally.
- Cut down a week beforehand: In the week before the session, smoke gradually less.
- Nicotine patch: 3 days before the session you will receive a nicotine patch from us to prepare.
- No alcohol and caffeine: from the moment the appointment is made, and at the latest 12 hours before the session.
- Plenty of water: During the preparation phase, drink at least 2 litres a day.
- Rested and fortified: Come well rested and not on an empty stomach – eat something beforehand.
- Cancellation: If you cannot keep the appointment, please let us know at least one day in advance.
Bring your last two cigarettes: They are obligatory. They are smoked deliberately before the application and mark the end of your smoking habit.
Please come on your own: For a calm, focused session, please come without a companion.
After the application
- Plenty of water: Drink around 2 litres a day.
- 72 hours without alcohol and caffeine: Both are closely bound up with smoking.
- Sweating & exercise: A steam bath, a sauna, a hot bath or sport do many people good.
- Mouthwash: Gargle 5–10 times a day in the first week – that supports oral hygiene.
- Supporting products: Use the products you receive from us whenever the thought of smoking comes up – and carry them with you at all times during the first week.
- Keep your hands & mind busy: Jigsaw puzzles, knitting, drawing, hobbies – or games and apps on your phone for difficult moments.
- Healthy snacks: Chewing gum, dried fruit, fresh fruit, nuts or seeds instead of sweets in the evening.
- The first three days: They are often regarded as the hardest phase. During this time, avoid contact with people who still smoke.
- Record your progress: Take a photo of yourself on the day of the application, after one week and after two weeks – it is motivating.
- Teeth & diet: Treat yourself to a professional dental cleaning soon and pay attention to a vitamin-rich diet with plenty of fruit and vegetables.
Not even “just one” – a single cigarette can undo the whole process. If it happens anyway: get in touch with us instead of giving up.

Cupping (Hacamat)
Cupping is a traditional application in which cupping glasses are placed on the skin with negative pressure. Many people experience it as a deliberate time-out for themselves.
If that interests you, we recommend Hanım Türkmen. Cupping is not part of what we offer and is not a component of smoking cessation – you arrange appointments directly with her.
- When?approx. 1 week after the session
- With whom?Hanım Türkmen
- How?a separate appointment, not through us
A recommendation without any promise of a cure. Cupping is not a service provided by Bio Rauch Stopp. In the case of blood clotting disorders, while taking blood-thinning medication, with skin conditions or during pregnancy, please consult a doctor beforehand.
Your first weeks as a non-smoker
Tap on a stage to read what is happening in your body.
- 1
What happens in the body
Nicotine activates the sympathetic nervous system: blood vessels constrict, the heart beats faster, blood pressure rises. Shortly after the last cigarette this effect subsides – heart rate and blood pressure move back towards your personal resting values.
What you may notice
Some people feel their hands and feet becoming warmer, because the fine vessels of the skin are better supplied with blood again.
- 2
What happens in the body
Carbon monoxide from tobacco smoke binds to the red blood pigment around 200 times more strongly than oxygen and displaces it. Within half a day most of the gas is breathed out again – the red blood cells can once more carry more oxygen to the muscles, the heart and the brain.
What you may notice
At the same time, the first withdrawal symptoms may appear: restlessness, irritability, strong cravings. That is normal and a sign that your body is adjusting.
- 3
What happens in the body
The inner walls of the blood vessels recover, the blood flows more easily and the vessels react more elastically again. The lungs also work more efficiently: lung function increases measurably during these weeks. The physical withdrawal symptoms usually ease considerably in this phase.
What you may notice
Stairs, walks and sport often feel easier. Many people also notice that smell and taste become more intense again.
- 4
What happens in the body
The airways are lined with fine cilia that move mucus, dust and germs outwards. Tobacco smoke paralyses and damages them. After stopping smoking they gradually resume their work – the lungs' self-cleaning gets going again.
What you may notice
At first the cough may even become briefly stronger, because the lungs are clearing mucus. After that, coughing and shortness of breath noticeably decrease.
- 5
What happens in the body
Without the constant irritation from the components of smoke, the vessel walls calm down and the blood is less prone to forming clots. That reduces the strain on the coronary vessels – an important milestone for your heart health.
What you may notice
At 20 cigarettes a day, one year smoke-free means around €2,600 more in your pocket – you can work that out in the Smoke-free calculator.
- 6
What happens in the body
The blood vessels in the brain benefit from the better vascular health, and the risk of stroke gradually approaches that of people who have never smoked. At the same time the mucous membranes in the mouth, throat and oesophagus regenerate, having previously been in direct contact with the smoke.
What you may notice
You do not feel these changes directly – but they are among the most important reasons to stay smoke-free for good.
- 7
What happens in the body
The lungs have had a decade to recover from the harmful substances in tobacco smoke. The risk of developing lung cancer is now about half that of people who continue to smoke. The risk of cancer of the larynx and pancreas also falls.
What you may notice
Ten years smoke-free – that is a milestone you can be proud of.
- 8
What happens in the body
After 15 years without a cigarette, the risk of coronary heart disease is close to that of a person who has never smoked. Over that time your cardiovascular system has largely recovered from the consequences of smoking.
What you may notice
Your last cigarette is the starting signal – every smoke-free day counts.
