How it works & method
How many sessions do I need in order to stop smoking?
In most cases we plan one main session of around 70 minutes. Depending on how long and how much you have smoked and on your habits, a second session (a top-up) may make sense – we discuss that honestly in the preliminary talk instead of selling you a large package.
Is the treatment painful?
No. During the bioresonance application, electrodes rest on the skin; with the soft laser, a weak beam of light (5 mW) is briefly directed at selected points. Both are pain-free; most clients find the session relaxing.
How long does a session last?
Around 70 minutes including the case history and the concluding talk. The bioresonance application itself takes about 55 minutes.
What is the difference between bioresonance and soft laser?
Bioresonance works via electrodes using electromagnetic oscillations; the soft laser stimulates selected acupuncture points with weak light. In the “Stop Smoking Plus” package we combine the two. More: Bioresonance · Soft laser.
Do I have to do anything during the session?
No. You lie comfortably and can relax. All that matters is that you are determined not to smoke again from that day on.
Preparation & follow-up care
How should I prepare?
In the week before the session, gradually reduce the number of cigarettes you smoke. 3 days beforehand you will receive a nicotine patch from us. From the moment the appointment is made – and at the latest 12 hours beforehand – please avoid alcohol and caffeine. Come rested, not on an empty stomach and on your own, and bring your last two cigarettes with you. All the details: How it works & preparation.
Why should I smoke less in the week beforehand?
Cutting down gradually in the week before the session already accustoms body and mind to less nicotine – which makes the step on your target date easier. In addition, you receive a nicotine patch from us 3 days before the session.
What should I bear in mind after the session?
Drink around 2 litres of water a day, avoid alcohol and caffeine for 72 hours, gargle with mouthwash several times a day in the first week, replace rituals and avoid contact with smokers for the first three days. You will find all the tips under How it works & preparation.
What should I do when the craving is strong?
The 4-D rule helps: delay, deflect, distract, deep breathing. An attack of craving usually lasts only a few minutes. More in the guide to Withdrawal symptoms.
Will I put on weight after stopping smoking?
Weight gain is common after stopping smoking, because metabolism and appetite change. We give you concrete tips so that your weight stays stable after you stop smoking.
Costs & appointments
What does smoking cessation cost?
All prices are listed transparently on our prices page. The preliminary talk by telephone is free of charge and without obligation.
Does health insurance cover the costs?
The statutory health insurance funds do not cover the costs. Some private supplementary insurers partly reimburse complementary methods – ask your insurer.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
As a rule within a few days. Simply send an enquiry via the form or give us a call.
Effect & safety
Is success guaranteed?
No – and reputable providers do not promise it either. Bioresonance and soft laser are complementary methods whose effectiveness is not scientifically proven. What matters is your own decision. We support you with structured preparation, the application itself and clear follow-up care.
Who is the application not suitable for?
We do not carry out the application – or only after consulting a doctor – if you have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic devices, during pregnancy, with epilepsy, or with severe or acute illnesses. Please raise this with us in the preliminary talk.
Does this also help with e-cigarettes, heated tobacco or shisha?
Yes, you are welcome to come to us if you use e-cigarettes, a heated tobacco device (e.g. IQOS) or shisha. In that case please bring your product or liquid along so that we can tailor the session to it.
Is bioresonance scientifically recognised?
No. Bioresonance is a complementary method whose effectiveness is not scientifically proven. We say so openly, because we want you to make an informed decision. Many people nevertheless choose this route because they want to start without medication and without months of replacement products, and because they want personal support.
